The President signed the FY10 National Defense Authorization Act (H.R. 2647) on October 28!

The FY10 National Defense Authorization Act includes provisions which will:

• Credit FERS employees for unused sick leave
• Extend locality pay to employees in Alaska, Hawaii and the U.S. Territories
• Allow FERS employees to redeposit annuity upon returning to government
• Allow for the part-time reemployment of annuitants without offset to salary

This is a major victory for FMA and all members of the federal community!
